Up to 2.9 GHz are possible at the peak via Turbo Boost and it supports multitasking assignments with Hyper Threading Technology,( toshiba pa3356u-1brs battery ) which supplies the four physical computing cores with four additional, virtual cores (4 cores, 8 threads). Dieser schreit förmlich danach mit Fingerabdrücken und Staub „geschmückt“ zu werden. Ein Microfasertuch um das Notebook sauber zu halten sollte damit zur Grundausstattung in der Notebooktasche gehören. Glänzende Oberflächen sind stark geschmacksabhängig und gefallen nicht jedem, trotzdem kann man das Design des Medion Akoya P6631 durchaus als schick bezeichnen.( Sony VGP-BPS2 akku ) Das schwarze Design macht einen edlen Eindruck und das Linenmuster auf dem Displaydeckel bringt etwas Abwechslung in das schwarze Design.( Fujitsu FPCBP136 Akku ) Auch der Innenteil des Notebooks macht mit seinem schwarzen Hochglanzlack – sofern dieser geputzt ist - einen edlen Eindruck.
Die Verarbeitungsqualität des Medion Akoya P6631 ist in Ordnung. ( Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 Akku ) Im Innenteil glänzen die Handballenauflagen und das Tastaturbett nicht nur durch den schwarzen Lack, sondern auch durch ihre Stabilität.( Akku Acer Aspire 5920G ) Bei punktuellem Druck gibt die Handballenauflage kaum nach und auch an den Außenseiten ist das Gehäuse stabil. Nur direkt über dem optischen Laufwerk lässt sich das Gehäuse etwas weiter eindrücken. ( HP CQ42 akku ) Auch die Tastatur gibt sich sehr stabil und gibt auch bei stärkerem Druck auf eine einzelne Taste kaum nach. Das Display hingegen lässt sich recht leicht verwinden, Farbverfälschungen traten dabei allerdings keine auf. Die beiden Displayscharniere halten das Display sicher an seiner Position, sind gleichzeitig aber nicht zu schwergängig. ( Akku Compaq CQ60 ) Ein leichtes Nachwippen können sie aber nicht vermeiden.
Das Medion Akoya P6631 profitiert durch die neuen Sandy Bridge Chipsätze und kann somit auf die schnellen USB 3.0 Anschlüsse zurückgreifen.( Sony VGP-BPS9A/S Akku ) Das Akoya P6631 verfügt direkt über zwei der schnellen Anschlüsse. ( Sony VGP-BPS13a/q Akku ) Ansonsten verfügt das Akoya P6631 über die derzeitigen Standardanschlüsse wie HDMI, VGA und den beiden Audioanschlüssen für Kopfhörer und Mikrofon.
Auf der linken Seite des Medion Akoya P6631 befinden sich der Anschluss für das Netzteil,( Acer aspire 7740 Akku ) der RJ45 (LAN) Anschluss, der VGA Ausgang, der HDMI Anschluss und die beiden USB 3.0 Anschlüsse. An der Frontseite befinden sich lediglich die Status-LEDs und der Kartenleser.( Sony VGP-BPS13b/b Akku ) Dieser versteht sich auf Speicherkarten im SD-Kartenformat. Auf der Rückseite gibt es bedingt durch die Einbauweise des Akkus keine weiteren Anschlüsse mehr.( Akku VGP-BPS13B/S ) Insgesamt bietet das Medion Akoya P6631 so ziemlich alle Anschlüsse die man braucht. Mit den beiden USB 3.0 Anschlüsse ist man auch für die Zukunft gerüstet. So kann man auch das Fehlen eines E-SATA Anschlusses für externe Festplatten verschmerzen.
Damit das Medion Akoya P6631 mit seiner Umwelt kommunizieren kann, verfügt es über WLAN,( Akku Dell Inspiron 9400 ) Bluetooth und LAN. Um die kabellose Kommunikation kümmert sich der Intel Centrino Wireless N1030 Chip. ( VGP-BPS10A/B Akku ) Dieser stellt nicht nur die WLAN Verbindung nach dem Standard 802.11b/g/n zur Verfügung, sondern liefert Bluetooth 3.0+HS direkt mit. Somit ist das Akoya P6631 bei den kabellosen Verbindungen schon einmal gut gerüstet.
Der Lieferumfang unseres Testmusters fiel sehr spartanisch aus.( Acer Aspire 5100 Akku ) Und zwar so sehr, dass es noch nicht einmal eine Retail-Verpackung gibt. Das Medion Akoya kommt in einem schnöden braunen Karton an. (Akku Sony VGP-BPS10/B ) Da auch keinerlei gedruckte Dokumentation mit dabei war, haben wir bei Medion nachgefragt, ob dies wirklich dem endgültigen Auslieferungszustand entspricht. Die Antwort von Medion steht allerdings noch aus, wird aber, sobald sie bei uns eingegangen ist, ergänzt werden.
Medion verpasst dem Akoya P6631 eine Tastatur mit einzelnen freistehenden Tasten mitsamt Nummernblock auf der rechten Seite. ( Dell Latitude D630 Akku ) Die Tasten besitzen eine Größe von 15 x 15 Millimetern und dürften damit für die meisten User ausreichend groß dimensioniert sein. Der Abstand zwischen den einzelnen Tasten beträgt 4 Millimeter. Das erleichtert beim Schreiben das Treffen der richtigen Tasten und sorgt für ein angenehmeres Schreibgefühl. ( Sony VGP-BPS21A/B Akku ) Warum die Flächen zwischen den Tasten allerdings eine Hochglanzoberfläche erhalten haben ist uns ein Rätsel. Die Flächen werden beim Schreiben sehr schnell mit Fingerabdrücken übersäht und das Reinigen ist relativ aufwändig.

The GTA opponent's performance requirements are fairly moderate and the game still runs smoothly with 21 fps even in a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 16x AF. Last but not least, it's time to deal with the real time strategy game, ( Sony VGP-BPS13A/S Battery ) StarCraft 2 – Wings of Liberty. Despite its comparatively simple graphics, it puts quite a demand on the system resources. The Asus N53SN allows smooth gaming (37.6 fps) in high presets and a resolution of 1360x786 pixels.
